Editorial Routing Playbook

Which entity hosts which content? Rules + cross-publication patterns + decision tree.

v1.0 · 2026-05-12 · Source: daedarch.editorial_routing_rules

The principle

The Napoleon system is shared infrastructure. Any entity can use the V5 composer + data-storytelling tools (geographic acquisition, Minard charts, music gen, deployer, niche cascade). But the published content goes to the entity whose charter matches the topic + voice + audience.

Trellison ≠ Fivvix ≠ Artrellion ≠ Aletheion. Each has a charter (allowed_categories · audience · editorial voice) and content that doesn't fit gets routed elsewhere — or cross-published with the correct framing on each surface.

Tool: media.classify_content_to_entity_v1 — pass title + description + topic keywords, get the recommended entity + cross-publish suggestions.

  • Advocacy content (→ Artrellion — Aletheion stays neutral)
  • Consumer narrative (→ Fivvix)
  • Product pages (→ entity-specific)
Firewall: 10-firewall model (GAO/Cochrane/NewsGuard/ProPublica): no board overlap with Trellison/Artrellion, independent funding, editorial independence. Aletheion can audit Trellison/Artrellion/Fivvix work — that independence is the value proposition.

Example paths

/verification/claims/<id>

Cross-publication

Audit Trellison methodology AND Artrellion advocacy claims AND any external party. Firewall says no shared staff with either; cross-publication is via independent evaluation, not collaboration.

Cross-publication patterns

Same data + same Napoleon production system. Different framings on different surfaces. Six canonical patterns:

Research → Consumer Narrative (Trellison + Fivvix)

Primary: trellison · Secondary: fivvix

Same data, same Napoleon production system, different framing/voice/audience

Example: Carbon Capture cohort scoring (Trellison /research/carbon-capture/academic/) → Carbon Stories (Fivvix /journalism/carbon-credit-credibility/) — same underlying analysis, different voice.

Research + Independent Audit (Trellison + Aletheion)

Primary: trellison · Secondary: aletheion

⚠️ Firewall: No shared staff, no shared funding; cross-publication via independent review, NOT collaboration
Example: Trellison publishes carbon methodology; Aletheion separately reviews and publishes audit.

Advocacy citing Research (Artrellion + Trellison)

Primary: artrellion · Secondary: trellison

⚠️ Firewall: Citation only — no staff/board overlap; Artrellion may cite Trellison research in policy briefs
Example: Artrellion files comment on EPA carbon rule; cites Trellison Tier-1 Integrity Critics academic brief as evidence.

Product + Research backing (LedgerWell + Trellison)

Primary: ledgerwell · Secondary: trellison

Example: LedgerWell.io/carbon/business-cases/corporate-buyers links to Trellison /research/carbon-capture/methodology for credibility.

Game + Curriculum Alignment (Fivvix + Trellison)

Primary: fivvix · Secondary: trellison

Example: Forces card game on Fivvix; Trellison hosts the educational_coverage_v1 audit results + CED methodology rationale.

Physical Signals → Verification (SemaLi + LedgerWell + Aletheion)

Primary: semali · Secondary: ledgerwell, aletheion

Example: SemaLi soil-moisture sensors → LedgerWell parcel evidence → Aletheion audit of soil-data-to-credit chain.

Decision tree (when in doubt)

Walk top-to-bottom. First "yes" wins.

  1. Is this content about a SPECIFIC piece of legislation, regulation, or advocacy position? → artrellion
  2. Is this content a FACT-CHECK or independent AUDIT of someone else's claim/methodology? → aletheion
  3. Is this content a METHODOLOGY/replication/peer-review-register research piece (even if it's about a product)? → trellison
  4. Is this content about a CARBON, AGRICULTURE, INSURANCE, or TRADE-FINANCE product (customer-facing)? → ledgerwell
  5. Is this content about CANNABIS compliance? → custodiq
  6. Is this content about IOT / SENSORS / EDGE HARDWARE? → semali
  7. Is this content a GAME, ILLUSTRATED STORY, or CONSUMER NARRATIVE? → fivvix
  8. Is this content an API/SDK/PLATFORM doc or ENTERPRISE PRICING/PRODUCT? → daedarch

If none match, escalate to editorial lead for manual review.
